Shomo Trading is backed by a seasoned management team. The Company’s officers provide a wide range of technical expertise from geology and engineering to accounting and land management/development. All have held senior management positions and Board memberships with several successful small- and medium-sized producers. Together, the team brings over 20 years of combined oil and gas experience to Shomo.
Shomo A Shomo- Chief Executive Officer
Shomo has extensive experience in all facets of oil and gas engineering and production including reserve evaluation, field optimization and production systems, as well as drilling and joint venture analysis. He has strengths in operations and reserve analysis with a high level of innovative thinking with respect to production enhancement and cost reductions.
Mubarak A Shomo – Managing Director
Mubarak over has experience in the oil and gas sector in a variety of engineering roles and brings all-around experience and acumen to the various situations which arise in overseeing multiple production entities. His multi-faceted background allows him to be able to handle all aspects of the petroleum engineering function.
Abdelwahab Babeker – Contracts Managing Director
Abdelwahab is responsible for all contracts. And has experience in Marketing and customer service. He oversees all major company operations and business development opportunities, including acquisitions, production maintenance, and exploration. His focus is to propel Company growth efficiently and cost-effectively while protecting the environment through systemic and disciplined management.
Mohammed Shumo – Financial Director
Mohammed is a seasoned Accountant with over 10 years experience. He is a proactive member of the Senior Management Team with direct involvement in and accountability for the overall financial performance of the company. He has excellent first class communication skills and be able to liaise with non-financial shareholders. High caliber individual with excellent communication skills
M A Gardeya Operations Manager – Juba
Gardeya has over 5 years experience in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of Shomo Trading in Juba so that business run smoothly. The is responsible for ensuring that effective methods are put into place so that the company of employment runs to its maximum productivity.
His has experience in daily logistics of the organisation, preparing budgets and inventories, and overseeing the supervision of employees. The job holder will be expected to harness a working environment which encourages team work, energy and creativity. He is able to achieve this, they should have strong leadership and excellent problem-solving skills along with good communication skills and excellent knowledge in logistics and the knowledge of Juba and outlying areas as well as other states .
lnour Abaker – Operations Manager – Wau
His has experience in daily logistics of the organisation, preparing budgets and inventories, and overseeing the supervision of employees. He is very knowledgeable with the environment and harness a working environment which encourages team work, energy and creativity. To achieve this, they should have strong leadership and excellent problem-solving skills along with good communication skills and customer services extended to clients and staff.
Annas Ali – Operations Manager Aweil
Vast experience in distribution and logistics management gained in South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. He has the ability to think on their feet and make quick decisions. Which ensures smooth running of operations and delivery of services.
